What is it with hipster/counterculture/too cool for school/”I’m so unique and anti whatever” white kids thinking that it’s cool to say the “n-word,” reinforce stereotypes on POC and either pretend to be racist or openly spew racist nonsense? Um, that really isn’t cool and individualistic simply because you’re living in a Politically Correct or PC world, in a society that is trying to stop racism and racial prejudice in general. A lot of people tell me they’re just doing it for attention and because they know they’ll piss a ton of people off. Oh, really? Attacking my culture, my history, my ancestors, my incessant pain and their ungodly pain is going to piss me off? Picking at a scab that hasn’t fully healed for centuries is going to irk me? Whodathunkit? Why not be anti something that’s actually a problem? Is anti-government, anti-corporate, and anti-religion too “mainstream” for you? Oh, is everyone becoming cookie-cutter, carbon-copied, mindless sheep by trying to agree to not hate people based on the color of their skin? This is an issue I continue to see grow and frankly, it’s pure sewage. Eff, you.
